Festivals: Qiandongnan Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture
There are many folk festivals in the Qiandongnan Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture. Statistics reveal that the prefecture sponsors 158 medium and small folk festivals and 107 large-scale folk festivals. The place enjoys the laudatory title "Home of Hundred Festivals".
China Kaili International Lusheng Festival
Main activities: Large folk song and dance party and rich dress parade of folk customs, lusheng performing competition, ethnic dress display, ox, cock and bird fighting, visit to ethnic villages, display and sale of ethnic handicrafts.

China Liping Drum-Tower Cultural Festival of the Dongs
Main activities: March-in and opening ceremony, Dong song, antiphonal style singing, Dong opera, wrestling , scrambling for festive lanterns, sightseeing of Dong villages, exhibition of folk customs.

Sisters Festival of the Miaos in Taijiang
Main activities: Song and dance performance at the opening ceremony, display of folk customs, stepping on drums, dragon dance performance, ox, cock and bird fighting, scrambling for ducks, dragon boat race, visit to Miao villages, paleontological fossils and embroidery museum, Miao musical instruments, and a taste of the life of the Miaos.

Sama Festival of the Dongs in Rongjiang
Main activities: Offering sacrifices, display of Dong dresses and folk customs, singing of ancient songs and pipa performance, visit to and inspection of folk villages, sightseeing on the Duliu River

Zhenyuan Dragon Boat Festival
Main activities: A grand parade, dragon boat race, sightseeing of colorful boats on the river, scrambling for ducks, ethnic and folk art performance, ox fighting, sightseeing on Wuyang River and in Qinglong Cave, visit to ancient cities and ethnic villages.

Shidong Dragon Boat Festival
Main activities: dragon boat race, horse rae and lusheng dance
Time: 5th day of the 7th lunar month

Miao New Year
Main activities: Stepping on drums, bronze and wooden drum song and dance performance, lusheng party, ox and bird fighting, display of Miao customs and dresses.
Time: 26th of the 10th month to the 13th day of the 12th month in the lunar calendar.
Venue: Miao villages of Kaili, Leishan, Danzhai and Taijiang
Miao Lusheng Festival in Zhouxi
Main activities: Lusheng dance, singing in antiphonal style, ox and bird fighting, horse race, display of dresses, singing ang dancing, visit to villages and folk customs.

Sanyuesan Festival of the Dongs in Baojing
Main activities: Toasts on the way, flute performance, strpping on drums, display of folk culture and customs.

Lusheng Festival of the Miaos in Gulong
Main activities: Lusheng performance, singing race, ox and bird fighting, horse race, display and sightseeing of the Miao and Gejia culture and folk customs.

Congjiang Orange Festival
Main activities: colorful dress parade, opening ceremony, ethnic and folk performances, display of ethnic village customs of Basha and Yintan, appraisal of fruit king and orange tasting
